Bad Friday?

Or sad Friday.               

It was good insofar as what Jesus achieved by willingly going to Golgotha to die, was His triumph over sin, death, and the devil - though it looked anything but that at the time! It took His resurrection from the grave to show what had happened. On that Friday, it seemed as if Jesus had been defeated and that would be the end of any following. Ah, but Sunday was coming! THEN His triumph over evil was seen, and Christianity took off like a rocket!

What's good about it is that Jesus paid for all your sins, which you could not possibly afford yourself. 

Because without this day there would be no salvation.

Look past all of that to the ultimate result, Mt. 28:18-20.

In religious terms the word GOOD means a time, or season, to be remembered as Holy .. with the word GOOD coming from the word GOD'S.

It is good because without the cross, believers in Jesus Christ would not have forgiveness, not have eternal life.

On the 14th of Nisan or on the 15th of Nisan?

On the 3rd hour or on the 6th hour?

A scarlet robe or a purple robe?

The word "good" came from the word "God".

Its sad when people don't even learn the history of their own belief system.

"Seeing as our saviour was Crucified on Friday"

Actually, he wasn't. Jesus is fictional - it never existed.
