    happiness and suffering is generally an inside job controlled by varies chemicals in the brain some you may have control over and others not so much in either case this too shall pass so hang in there and treat yourself well and while it may take practice it's worth it in the long run...

    You keep eating and breathing.  You may want to cross-post this in the Biology section so you can get answers that include things like "cellular respiration" and "ATP" and "favorable amounts of free energy."
