Do American people often eat a instant ramen？

Some people do especially poor students.

Ramen is like fast food in the US.

Some of them do, and some do not.

I do not, the kids and the wife do eat it. At certain points in their lives the kids ate it a great deal as a snack of something. I never understood the appeal. Both kids did buy a bunch of it when they moved out.

Considering the huge quantity sold in the US, and unless everyone is storing it or using it for insulation, yes, we do often eat instant ramen.

Take a survey and ask all Americans.  That's the only way you will know for sure.

I like ramen noodles drained.  And rinse and I add sweet n sour in and water chestnuts. Ummm good.  I throw out the seasoning packet 

College students alone probably account for the majority of ramen profits in America.
