That’s not true at all. Covid has hit red states just as much, if not more than blue states. Just look at Texas and Florida.

Those state have the largest cities, and are major entry points for international travelers. Seems pretty simple to me. But if you pay attention, you will find that red states are seeing more spikes. Can't imagine why.

Because they got Covid first before treatments were available, but the red states are catching up and, in fact, 9 of the top 10 states with the mist civid per capita are red states.

Back in November, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti announced lockdown orders due the the massive spike in COVID cases (in a two week span, county cases went from 1,500 a day to over 17,000)...
The largest spikes were in black and Hispanic neighborhoods...
A few days after his announcement, a large Holiday street festival was allowed to go on as planned in a Hispanic community.....drawing thousands of participants...LAPD provided security and traffic control.
A few days after that, there was a large fundraising event for "racial justice" hosted by a group of black ministers in a large indoor auditorium...the event attracted over 500 participants, including several local politicians...
Not a single local reporter asked him about the inconsistency... when a national journalist finally questioned the mayor at an event a few weeks later, he bristled and said "look, these communities have suffered greatly...there's only so much we can ask them to sacrifice."
He then doubled down on the "say what?" factor by saying "COVID rates have exposed the great inequities in our society. We can't address injustice by furthering that inequity!"
With "leadership" like this....is it any wonder that only a few neighborhoods burned all summer?
