I replaced my front driver axel on my 2017 camry due to popping noises on turns. 1000 miles later it started popping again? Is it common?

A POPPING sound is DANGEROUS as it MAY mean that your SUSPENCION BUSHINGS or CONTROL ARM bushings are A FALING wasted your money on a AXLE replacement! GO to a VALID alignment shop and they will TEST the suspension parts for you! A LOOSE or BROKEN CONTROL ARM bushing is VERY VERY dangerous and can cost you the CAR and your LIFE as well!  AXLES do NOT make a POPPING SOUND, they make a RATTLING sound on turns. POPPINGI sounds are MUCH more OMINOUS, and SERIOUS control loss is very LIKELY! 

Well, sometimes what sounds like a bad CVJ might actually be a wheel bearing (hub assembly). It can be difficult to tell which side the noise is coming from with a bad wheel bearing so I usually set the car or truck on jack stands and start the engine and put it in gear and walk around to each wheel and listen for the noise. Since the sound travels up through the axle shafts to the tranny, a right side bearing might sound like a left side bearing and vice versa while sitting inside the car, truck, or SUV.

No it's not that common. Did you get the inner slide joint snapped into the differential flange? 

It's common if you do donuts all the time. Ordinarily that axle should have been trouble-free for 100,000 miles. There should be a warranty you can fall back on- parts and labor. Check the grease boot for tears or if it came loose and let out all the grease so the dry joint would get sloppy and clickety. You should also have the intermediate steering shaft checked. Sometimes they get noisy. That has been a problem with many different cars since electric power steering came out...not just Toyotas. That damned shaft costs about $180 from the dealer and takes about an hour to change.

2017? What did you do to it? It's not the axle. It's the boot.

If you installed an aftermarket part, that could be your problem.  Most are junk.  Or the hub might be broken this time.  See a mechanic.

And your problem is not common.  You might have a lemon.
