Is being known as a “party girl” a good or bad connotation? ?

When I hear the words party girl, I think of someone who is irresponsible and just wants to have fun.

To me, it sounds like someone with a reputation for hopping into the sack with strangers.

Usually bad.  Guys may go out with a party girl (for a good time), but they generally don't marry them.

If you're 19 and looking for someone to plan Spring Break it might be a good thing but if you're an adult looking for a real job it's the curse of death. 

That depends on who you speak with about it. If you ask someone who's into that scene, they'll consider "party girl" a good connotation. If you speak with a moralist or someone extremely conservative, they'll consider it the opposite. So the connotation depends on who's doing the "knowing". 

Doesn't matter.

Do what makes you happy. As long as you aren't hurting anyone, than be a party girl.
