What is the best way to learn JavaScript?

I just wanted to know the best way to learn javascript and get a job as a programmer.

    People have criticisms of the website bellow because it hasn't been kept up to date, but I still think it's a good place to start.

    Google and youtube. Udemy also has courses if you like learning that way and they offer discounts on their content all the time (I've never tried their Javascript courses but they seem to be good).
