Who would win in a real fight in their prime, Chris Benoit or Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner?

Scott Steiner was a Top High School Wrestler in The State of Michigan and a Top College Wrestler at The University of Michigan. The Pre-Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner would have been far too much for Chris Benoit to handle. Anyone who watch The Steiner Brothers back then knows each one could bench press in excess of 500lbs and Scott Steiner could and would create new wrestling holds and new wrestling moves during matches. While Chris Benoit is a great Professional Wrestler he does not bring the same Amateur Wrestling Skillset that Scott Steiner can employ. 

Scott Steiner was a legit, trained amateur wrestler that competed at the University of Michigan. That was not just a character thing with him and his brother, he literally was an actual wrestler. Add his strength to that and he can take out just about most humans if he really wanted to.

As far as I know, Benoit was not, he was a pro wrestler.

Another person that was also a trained amateur wrestler like Scott Steiner?...his name is Brock Lesnar, him at the University of Minnesota...and last I checked he was able to become a UFC champion.
