Why did the DNC refuse to criticize China over anything related to the coronavirus? Why was the DNC against tarriffs on China products?

I've had the displeasure of living through eight Presidents and I've never seen someone bow down to dictators more then #45 whose currently being investigated for the million dollar lease he received from China while being President.
