2012!

Biggest change was that...  I received my drivers licenses, got started first job,  graduated high school, started college, ended my first job, and voted in the election for the first time.

Biggest impact Y!A gave me, was a suggestion to watch an anime. I already watched a few and I wanted more suggestions, but I wasn't a fan of subtitles. However, this one user strongly suggested that I'd try out this one with subtitles because it was really good. I gave it a go and 1 minute in, I fell in love with it. Now I'm obsessed with that particular anime and have been for the past 7 years. Because of it, my whole major and future perspective has changed and I am also now trying to learn Japanese, along with Chinese & Korean.

I first found the site in 2008. I've been on it pretty much ever since. This is my 3rd "incarnation" though, having previous accounts suspended.

2006...................

I started frequenting Y!A in 2006, and was a regular in the R&P section up until 2011 by which point I pretty much stopped coming altogether. For the last few months I've poked my head in now and then to answer a few questions. Not really surprised they're shutting down. The majority of questions asked are very lame, immature, repetitive, and of a trolling nature.

On a very positive note, my wife and I met here in 2007. We've been together since 2009. At that time we were living in different countries and 5,000 km apart.

I stumbled here before 2020 I think. I’ve seen it before but never answered or anything because I didn’t have an account. I have a Google email address. I just only stuck here at the end of 2020 when I was linked here...🌺

Lots of things changed...I changed jobs,partners,homes in this time and I grew older.
