Are these sentences correct:

a) "A marine biologist once told me that we we shouldn't touch a wild dolphin since it could transmit diseases."b) "A marine biologist once told me that we we shouldn't touch a wild animal because of the risk of it transmitting diseases."

    Yes they are okay. But you only need to use the word we once. So we shouldn't touch animals because they spread disease.
