No, If its predetermined then there will be zero chance of random event to occur. Which means Chaos does not exists. But natures true form is Chaos. We can predict the number of outcomes but can't control the event when too many parameters are beyond our control.

example : You decide to go friends house, but when you checked the route there is traffic. You will change your course and choose other route to get to your destination. Why did you change the route to avoid traffic?

Thats where prediction come into play. With calculation we avoid situation that harm us.
