Calculus Work Question?

Is there a way to solve this question without calculating multiple work and then summing it up. Like could you possibly sum up the total distance travelled first then multiply it by F cos 60 to find total work?

You could add up all the horizontal bits, but the angled parts of the path are not 60 degrees from F.

You could calculate each segment's component in the direction of F, add those up, and then multiply by the magnitude of F.

no, you need to calculate each leg. The angle varies. The first (and 3rd and 5th)  leg is 60º, the second leg is (60–30)º, the 4th is 0º.

you could add up the distances for the 1,3,5 legs, as they are all 60º
