    I was the kind that couldn't wait to make my own life rather always having to do what out of touch parents said.  Of course, then you find out that you have to pay for EVERYTHING which requires responsibility .... still not boring though

    No but it’s overrated. Only good part is the freedom you get. Do whatever you like without your parents permission. All other things like paying bills and doing taxes yuck. Who wants to pay bills and do taxes?
