Non-veg eaters, would you eat a dog? if not, why not?

A more outrageous question: Would you allow someone else to eat your pet dog or cat?

Why not? They are also animals like the chicken or goat, isn't it? Don't these have feelings? Why are they so special?

That's like asking a vegetarian if they would eat moss or a rose bush, just like different plants are used differently, so are animals. Would you get someone else to eat a Christmas tree? What's so special about it? Imagine cleaning up after a pet chicken and how boring would that be.

It’s on my bucket list. I think Basset Hound might taste good.

Sure, if the situation warranted it I'd eat anything including you, Sridhar.

Under normal circumstances I would not eat my cat or you.

If you want to eat your pet, that's your business.

If you try to eat mine, there's going to be trouble.
