Has a doctor ever given you a wrong treatment /diagnosis, but you KNEW what the problem was all along?

Yes more than once.

Yes.  I fought off surgery for 2 and a half years because I knew what the problem was.  My doctors weren't stupid -- they work for one of the best medical centers in the country -- but they feared I had something serious, and I finally caved in to the surgery.

I shouldn't have.  I was right; they were wrong.

That’s why you need to listen to your own intuition. Doctors are just people, paid to put a jacket on. They wing it as they go and look things up daily, the same thing you could do!!! However for people totally not in tune with reality they may need a doctor to rely on. Doctors are needed but you can’t pretend their opinion is gold.

And not personally, but they one time gave me penicillin which I ended up being allergic to. Guess that’s not really their fault lol
