How can I force my DMV to remove a restriction on my license?
My DMV, because of me being 17 even though I have a graduated driver certification, only lets me drive vehicles up to 10,000 lbs. My uncles' truck weighs 18,000 lbs. but you need to be at least 18 to drive vehicles up to 26,000 pounds.
I have a restriction that reads "NO VEHICLES >10K LBS." The lady told me when I'm 18, it will be removed.

The law is the law.
The entire reason the roads are dangerous today is that there are more young truck drivers on the road than ever.
They have ZERO respect for other drivers, ZERO care about laws, and drive high.
If it were up to ME, i wouldn't let you drive a LAWN TRACTOR until you were 21.

You cannot "Force" the DMV.
Why do you think you should be special and be given the right to break the law?

It’s based on state law. Take it up with your representative in the legislature, and if he thinks it’s a reasonable change he can sponsor a bill. But by the time the bill becomes law you’ll be 18 anyway.
