Why is it Ghana opposes colonialism, but the Ivory Coast and China allow outright slavery?
Ghana will no longer export chocolate to Swiss chocolate companies, thus ending colonialism. Yet, the Ivory Coast allows slavery, to keep prices low for western consumers. Even worse, China, a country that isn't as poor, allows Uyghur slaves for Apple, Nike, VW and other companies. Why would a country that's not even poor, tolerate slavery on such a broad scale?
