I need to find an experienced immigration attorney.?
I was living in the states most of my life and its the only way that I know with all my friends, everything I know, my life its my only home.
I was in the process after many years of waiting of getting my permanent residence from my mother who got hers from my brother who is American born but my mother passed away unexpected and the paperwork never got finished and eventually the case was closed. After the passing of my mother I was in a state of shock and my Aunt in Canada suggested I go to Trinidad for a bit to check it out and I thought at that time it was a good idea. I voluntarily left the states but found out in Trinidad I got a ban for several years for overstay. I am here in Trinidad 3 years now and from day one have been experiencing daily problems and am in fear of what is going on. My mother wanted a better life for me and I was living the dream but things can change in a brief moment and that is what happened with me. I need to find an experienced immigration attorney that handles complex cases so that I can get my paperwork in order or anyone who has knowledge on immigration that can lead me in a right connection. I am in desperate need for help.
Thank you.

Contact the Bar Association in the state where your brother lives and get a referral. If your sponsor passed away you may not be able to resurrect your past case and the overstaying may make any future sponsorship impossible. But if your brother was able to sponsor your mom he may be able to attempt to sponsor you once your ban is lifted.

No amount of money you throw at a lawyers will mean you will be allowed to move to and live in the US...... you overstayed your visa and so got a legal ban... your US 'brother' if living in the US once he is 21 yrs old if he has a job and is earning enough he can apply to sponsor a sibling visa for you, it may take several years before/if it is accepted until then you have to make the best life you can, work earn and save where you are

Call your local (usually county) Bar Association to ask for referrals.
