Who is the best women's wrestler right now?

Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of WWE, but they in my opinion have the best women's wrestlers as a collective currently. Outside of WWE I have to put Britt Baker in that mix now, Thunder Rosa as well..I saw more of her in NWA before working with AEW. AEW does have really good women wrestler in their title matches. Curious to see how Kamille progresses because she definitely has presence, and now that Quinn McKay is going to get in an ROH ring curious to see how good she is. I haven't seen her wrestle before.

But who is the best right now? Could be none that I mention since I don't follow much of what is happening in the UK and the smaller women's independents at the moment.

Asuka, so much so that I'd say she's one of the better wrestlers WWE has on the roster without adding the limitation of gender restrictions.  Don't get me wrong, I like how much television time and in-ring growth his happening for the AEW women's division, but not a one of them holds up to the WWE roster.  On the World Wonder Ring Stardom side of things, you have some awesome workers like AZM, Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano, Giulia (whose probably the best on the roster from what I've seen) and my personal favorite Saya Iida bringing some great in-ring action and future up side to the table, and it could be argued that they're as good if not better than some on the WWE roster of women but I wouldn't say a single one of them is as good as Asuka yet.

If anyone remotely comes close, it's Io Shirai off on the NXT brand.  It's not that surprising considering the likes of Asuka, Kairi, Mayu, and Io have been in the conversation as some of the best in the world for quite awhile now.  I can't discount Meiko Satomura either, and honestly in my opinion she's the only one among this list that has it in her to out perform Asuka on any given night.

If I had one honorable mention on this list, it'd be the somewhat recently retired Kagetsu from STARDOM.  The overall loss of Oedo Tai's core original lineup, be it to death or retirement, really hampered my interest in even checking out STARDOM for awhile because they were the ones to watch for me.  Kris Wolf was entertaining as hell, Kagetsu was brutal, and of course there was Hana Kimura who seemed to have the brightest future of all before her tragic passing.  All three deserve some love, and Hana and Kagetsu definitely deserve to be in the conversation of great women wrestlers.
