The election is over with. And now that the Biden administration are in the White House, they're faced with the reality that letting in people who show up at the border doesn't actually solve the humanitarian crisis at the border, it just draws more people coming in and makes those squalor camps get bigger and the facilities overflowing with children even more. They know if they open the flood gates the whole world will show up expecting to be let in.
