Why doesn't the queen's ex butler just relax and chill out a bit?

I wish I was 70 and didn't have to scrape around like a rat, relying on unscrupulous employers. I'd love to fast forward to retirement and just live on handouts in an old folks home, being able to hobble on my walking stick to the local bar and the newsagents. I don't know why he moans so much.
