    IT is being closed because of the way the terrible intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution posted by Christians towards others has driven so many away from God and into becoming antitheists‽

    It just business. There is no money to be made with Yahoo Answers. Therefore it is obsolete.
