Can't sleep well, Dreaming and nightmare problem.?
Hello I am currently 19, male and I have began to struggle with a lot of stress lately from school. I began to sleep late because of the heavily schedule I have had over the past few months and it has somehow affected my sleep. Everytime I sleep late and wake up early again, I wake up really tired and exhausted as if I only took a quick nap. However, whenever I sleep early and wake up late, I now tend to have realistic type or very detailed dreams or nightmares as well as well as deja vu type glimpses that have caused me to wake up feeling tired and exhausted again as if I didn't sleep at all or, again, just took a quick nap. Some these of dreams have gotten out of hand and have caused me to oversleep really late if I were to not be waked up. These dreams have also made me feel as if they were more realistic and I have begun to lucid dream which I have never experienced before. My behavior has also changed as my tiredness has caused me to lose consciousness of the real world as I have also began to start losing feeling or reductions of pain all over my body as well as feeling light and lost or unaware. I have never done drugs nor drank alcohol so I am unaware what it feels after consuming them. Im starting to think I need help but at the same time I feel that I might need a long break.
If anyone could relate to this or provide advice, I would much appreciate it and will be replying to this post as an update or in the comments below. Thanks for listening.

I can give you advice people say is good for stress reduction and study skills - getting better grades with more efficient skills that make the work less of a chore. But the best thing might be to see the doctor. Maybe I should mention that long periods of high stress can lead to depression. It's important to keep up with the coping methods that keep your moods on track and keep your stress low. Don't go into a 24/7 emergency mode. Take things a day at a time. Have some fun once and a while and find time to relax. Three answers below with things people say helps.
