AOL has a comments section and so does Fox News (and maybe the other news networks). You can check out ProBoards.com and Reddit and see what's available there. There's always Quora, although that's populated by serious-minded adults and not by adolescent trolls. Do a Google search for "question and answer forums" and see what turns up.

You're really giving Verizon too much credit for thoughtful intent. It's Wall Street 101 to buy failing companies, cherry pick the assets you think will bolster your own bottom line and then to kill off everything that isn't a profit driver.
