Is the CTV News Story true: is Quebec French so bastardized that a man from France failed the Province of Quebec's language test.?

    No big surprise. The language tests for the university I got my doctorate from  are screwy enough that a native speaker of Chinese fails the exam in Chinese. The story was that they didn't think that his English translation was grammatical enough.

    I haven't heard Quebecois that doesn't sound pretty much like Metropolitan French.
