Is the flatworm hyperosmotic, hypoosmotic, or isoosmotic to its environment?

    Yes.  That depends on the environment.

    Freshwater:  the flatworm is hyperosmotic with respect to its environment.  It uses its "flame cell" system to push out excess water (and metabolic wastes).

    Marine:  isoosmotic.  The marine flatworms are osmoconformers.

    Terrestrial:  You would need some water in the environment to compare against.  I would expect them to be hyperosmotic when it's raining.
