I gave up pornography to be closer with God but how do I get rid of my sexual urges?

Sexual urges are a normal part of being human. Without them, our species would soon become extinct. However, the ability to control them becomes easier as we draw closer to God, and allow His Spirit to work within us.

NO ONE BUT NO ONE CAN STOP THEIR SINNING WITHOUT THE GRACE TO DO SO FROM GOD.

I THINK YOU ARE TRYING TO BE A GOOD PERSON JUST FOR THE LORD AND HE TAKES DELIGHT IN YOU, BECAUSE YOU WANT TO TRY FOR HIM AND THATS ALL HE ASKS OF US, WHEN YOU STRUGGLE WITH YOUR TEMPTATIONS AND RESIST TEMPTATION THEN THAT IS WHEN YOU ARE MOST PLEASING TO HIM, IF YOU DONT HAVE THE STRUGGLE THEN WHAT GOOD WOULD YOU BE DOING, THE ANSWER IS NONE, YOU WOULD BE JUST SINNING ALL THE TIME. THE MORE A PERSON STRUGGLES WITH THEIR TEMPTATIONS AND CONQUERS THEM THRU THE GRACE OF THE LORD, THE HIGHER THAT PERSON SHALL OBTAIN IN HEAVEN. SAINT AUGUSTINE WAS A SEX ADDICT, BUT HE KEPT GOING BACK TO THE LORD WITH A SINCERE HUMBLE HEART WHEN HE SLIPPED(FELL) AND THE GRACE OF GOD WAS POURED ONT HIM AND HE BECAME A SAINT LOVING GOD. GOD WILL NEVER LET YOU GO WHEN YOU ARE SINCERE WITH HIM, HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE COULD LOVE YOU, NEVER FORGET THIS.

 YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO CHURCH. CONFESSION AND HOLY COMMUNION (FOR STRENGTH) AND PRAY SECRETLY THE ROSARY, AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN AND THE LORD SEES IN SECRET AND WILL GIVE YOU SPECIAL GRACES TO STOP YOUR SINNING. YOU MUST RETURN TO HIM IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH FALL(SLIP) WITH A SINCERE HEART AND HE WILL FORGIVE YOU EACH TIME, HE KNOWS IF YOU ARE TRYING OR NOT AND SO DO YOU. REMEMBER JESUS FELL THREE TIMES AND GOT RIGHT BACK UP IN GREAT PAIN AND KEPT MOVING FORWARD, JUST FOR LOVE OF US, AND HE WANTS YOU TO DO THE SAME. IT IS NOT DONE OVER NIGHT, THE COMBINATION OF HOLY COMMUNION AND PRAYERS WITH THE CONSTANCE RETURNING TO HIM WILL STRENGTHEN YOU BEYOND YOUR DREAMS OR EXPECTATIONS.

SO MUCH THAT TEMPTATION BECOMES JUST A QUICK SUDDEN THOUGHT WHICH YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHRUG OFF QUICKLY. I MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS AT THE SLIGHTEST TEMPTATION BUT I DO NOT VOLUNTARILY THINK ABOUT TEMPTATION EVER. IF IT COMES INTO YOUR MIND, QUICKLY THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE, WHEN DOING THIS, YOU ARE PLEASING THE LORD GREATLY, HE LOVES A PERSON EVEN MORE WHO IS TRYING JUST FOR HIM! HOLY COMMUNION IS THE GREATEST STRENGTH, THEN COMES PRAYER. JESUS'S GRACE IS POURED OUT ABUNDANTLY AT RECEIVING HIS BODY AND BLOOD, SOUL AND DIVINITY AT HOLY COMMUNION.

Ignore it and find something else to do.  Practice makes perfect.

You cannot, because it's 100 percent normal and healthy to get horny.

On the plus side, after waiting a couple weeks, your next **** is gonna be pretty good.

Testiculectomy.  Or nuke them from space,  It is the only way to be sure.

Have you tried scourging? Get a small whip and beat yourself until the urges leave. You might also try self-castration, as the early Christians did or indeed, some later Christians. You might also over-indulge to the point where your genitals are bloody. This pain might work as a future reminder. The road of excess leads to future stagnant wanting to have sex or masturbate. You might also arrange a hasty marriage but that can go wrong so very quickly. Divorce is expensive. Just buy a little whip for some self-flagellation or even go extreme for your version of God. If you are truly trying to carve lust from your mind, perhaps you need to carve on your flesh. 

One day at a time, you took a long time training yourself its going to take a long time to undo it, and somethings can't be unseen

But take it day by day like any addiction and if you fall, get up

Go get married and have a lot of sex.  That is the Bible's answer.  Marry someone that loves the Bible.  And know that all sins are forgiven by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord Jesus Christ is God, and He loves you.  Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future, and means going to heaven and not hell.  Death leads to immediate heaven or hell, and it is too late to be saved, after death.  All believers still sin.  See 1 John 1:8.  To be in heaven and not hell, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God and who died on the cross and shed His blood to pay for all of our sins in full, and who was buried, and who resurrected from the dead.  The only way to avoid hell is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, without adding any of your own works.  See Romans 4:5, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and John 3:16.
