Libertarians are undercover liberals. Why has no one from the Republican Party exposed this shenanigans yet?

Now that the republican party has completely discarded any pretense of believing in economic or fiscal conservatism, there's really no reason for republicans to think that Libertarians should feel like they have more in common with them than with democrats.

Not even CLOSE.  Calling them "liberals" is like saying "people in the People's REPUBLIC of China" are "undercover Republicans".

Libertarians (big L) are have mostly the ideals of the conservatives (small government, less regulations) who also mostly believe in the freedom of humans to make their own decisions about how they live their life (drugs, personal privacy, and freedom from government interference in their personal choices).

Most would vote with the Republicans if there is no "Libertarian" candidate.

No, that's simply not right.  Libertarians don't fit neatly on the spectrum, since their views are liberal on social issues but conservative on economics.

The Right isn't interested in silencing libertarians because their statements about economics are useful to Republicans.  Libertarians are helping push the Overton window to the right on economic issues, and that's more important to them than what those guys have to say on social issues.

That's right --- the Republican Party should purge all non-Trumpers until they're down to 20% of the population.  Then they'll win for sure!!!

Their sociopathic economic views and support of "private property rights" in discrimination cases says otherwise.

Most libertarians are conservatives who happen to want drugs legalized.
