60 senate votes needed to eliminate filibuster. Does that mean it is almost impossible to eliminate it?

unless one party get 60 senate votes in a congress?

That's not entirely true, a party could exercise the nuclear option (used in 2013 and 2017 to change how confirming nominations work) to establish a new precedent and eliminate the filibuster. There is a sort of 'mutually-assured destruction' that is preventing either party from going this far though because they know as soon as they are no longer the simple majority party, the opposing party will take advantage to push through their agenda.

Nope, it only takes 51 votes to change a Senate rule like the filibuster.
