Is it not a shame that Ireland has let go of the morals that got it so far?
Ireland was a unique example in its preservation of morals. Now it is a haven for transsexuals, homosexuals and feminists, just like the rest of Western Europe.

Do you notice that once feminists gain power, the birthrate collapses and the country starts aging and ultimately taken over by foreigners? That process started in Western European countries like Britain, France ,etc 50 years ago. Ireland is also going down that road.

I do not believe that medieval mores are moral at all. The strict Catholic "morality" is about as immoral as you can get. To make normal modern life and freedom to exist, sinful, wrong and illegal is without any doubt immoral.

Would you rather return to the days when divorce, birth control, and abortion weren't allowed?
Edit: There was a huge scandal recently about what happened to women who got pregnant out of wedlock. They were put into institutions and treated like garbage. Then their babies were taken from them and sold to adoptive couples abroad. The babies they couldn't sell were left to languish until they died. There was an abandoned septic tank at one of these homes in the city of Tuam where hundreds of these babies were discarded.
Also, in that country, a woman named Savita Halappanavar experienced a failing pregnancy but doctors wouldn't terminate the pregnancy because they could still detect a heartbeat. Instead, she was forced to suffer in agony for six days until she died from septic shock.
Is this the kind of morality you want?
Source(s): Also, anonymous, why do you think a falling birthrate is a bad thing? Do you really want to see people have children they can't care for? Many of those children will die long before they reach adulthood, often from preventable causes such as disease, starvation, or wars. For those who do survive, they are likely to be sold off or abandoned. - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

Interesting how you equate giving people equal rights to having loose morals.
Morality is forcing people to live unhappy lives, denying them the freedoms you enjoy?
You need to do some serious growing up.

Oh I thought you were talking about all the violence that the latest delusional far right violent thugs are dishing out in protest to Brexit borders.

Yes, it is not a shame. The only shameful thing here is people like you with attitudes like yours.
