How likely is judge to send family court case to criminal?

I have family court for harassment. I plan to admit no guilt but take the restraining order to get things over with. Is it likely that judge will send this family case to criminal court?

In this state, you can have restraining orders from either family court, criminal, or both.

Your story doesn't make sense because harassment is a criminal charge, which isn't something that is charged in family court.  So I think you are mistaking a family court claim (by your ex) as a criminal charge from the district attorney.  The exception is in small jurisdictions where there is no distinction between family and district court, and in those cases what you are suggesting can occur, but it would done by the same judge in the same court.

Judges don't send cases anywhere. The prosecuting attorney would be the one to decide that, and he won't even be present in family court.

You do not want a restraining order on your record.  If you actually didn't do anything, then don't just take it.
