Why did I get less ancestry results than my sister?

She had several different results but I only had 4. Why is this?

Update:

That’s what I’m talking about, yes.

Update 2:

Okay and we’re fraternal twins

You are not identical twins so your results will be different. Nothing to get upset about. Dna tests usually confirm what you already know. It's not like you just found out your sister was half Asian - you'd have already known that just by looking at her. I had a dna test and it told me that i was 100% polish, which I already knew. These tests are a waste of time & money.

If you are talking about Ancestry DNA, then the reason could be that you got different genes from your parents.  You inherit 50% from each parent, however, not necessarily the same 50%.  All it means is that a few more people who share more of your sisters DNA have used the service.  As more people use the service, you might find more people related through your DNA.

We could be related, but we will never know as I will never let a commercial company have my DNA and do what they want with it.
