The answer is 3. Could you please explain

    645 - no "sunny" in that meaning, so we know that 6, 4 and 5 all do NOT mean "sunny"

    42 - no "sunny" in that meaning, so we know that 4 and 2 do not mean "sunny"

    we can add a third note here:

    since 4 appears in both 645 and 42, and since the meaning "warm" also appears in both, we conclude that 4 means "warm"

    This suggests that each digit stands for one word

    and, indeed, what we see in the two example messages is: number of digits = number of words.

    Therefore: in the message 634, 3 must mean "sunny"
