They have airsoft realistic looking guns too that are black and mimic real guns.
These also fire copper and steel pellets.

Point recognized. On the other hand there are no less than hundreds of potential lethal weapons that Walmart does sell. You just can`t keep politics out of any equation and since air soft is not a firearm defined by the BATFE therefore Walmart bans firearms and sells airsoft...simple as that. If you doubt my claim about the hundreds of potential legal weapons then log on to a site that shows all the weapons the prison systems have confiscated.

I think you might be mistaking airsoft for BB and pellet guns. Airsoft fire plastic BB's and aren't lethal. BB guns and pellet guns fire metal projectiles and have the potential to be lethal but very rarely are.
Also, just because something "looks" like a real gun doesn't make it dangerous.
lastly, walmart sucks. Phuck those people.
