Should all true christians follow this example?

Is it possible to be intellectual and forget about the

one that gave you the potential to be one? Wouldn't it

be hard to be intellectual without the brain God gave you?

How many could reproduce something as intricate as a

functioning brain?

What have you found that makes you a more balanced

person and makes you happy? Do you think that religion

helps you to combat negative thoughts and situations?

Revelation 18:22-23

22 And the sound of singers who accompany themselves on the harp and of musicians and of flutists and of trumpeters will never be heard in you again, and no craftsman of any trade will ever be found in you again, and no sound of a millstone will ever be heard in you again, 23 and no light of a lamp will ever shine in you again, and no voice of a bridegroom and of a bride will ever be heard in you again; because your traveling merchants were the top-ranking men of the earth, for by your spiritistic practice all the nations were misled.

Do you feel like it affected you in any way? How did it affect others? What did his death and resurrection mean? Are any of you attending the memorial of his death?

11 Mary, however, kept standing outside near the memorial tomb, weeping. I noticed a few AARRHHH's in some of the answers today.

Does this not contradict the statement that god is love?

Could it be that there is a misunderstanding of what hell actually is?

Since Jesus and God act in one accord it means they work for the same purpose but are separate individuals. The holy spirit is God's active force that is accomplishing God's purposes. They are not one and the same thing but work together to accomplish something. Example for holy spirit is when they all became filled with holy spirit at pentacost in 33 CE.

There were many times that Jesus prayed to his father. Does it make sense that he would pray to him self? Also, do you think it is possible that he resurected himself after his death?

Read John 17:1-5 Jesus was praying to his father here concerning the fact that God had sent him to the earth to do his will, John 17:1-5 says 1 Jesus spoke these things and, raising his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour has come ; glorify your son, that your son may glorify you, 2 according as you have given him authority over all flesh, that, as regards the whole number whom you have given him, he may give them everlasting life, 3 This means everlasting life their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ.

Skipping to verse 5,

So now you, Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.
