4 AnswersElections7 years agoShould I work at Labor Ready or not work Labor Ready?
Right now, I contemplating working at Labor Ready. I have little luck getting a full-time job and the part-time job that I had which barely paid me at all, but at least was a job is now gone. Now, I am seriously thinking about working Labor Ready because I just want some extra money and not deplete my savings any more. Looking for a job full-time has yielded a lot of interviews and no jobs. I still want to look for a full-time job but I really not interested in depleting my savings any more even though I have at least $45,000 in liquid assets. And I am tired of having a huge gap on my resume. Is it better for me to work at Labor Ready and look for a job part-time or keeping on depleting my savings because a possible full-time job is coming up? My gut feeling is better to work at Labor Ready which does not a permanent committment and wait for full-time job than try to dedicate myself to permanent part-time job that is not in my field?

For large career boards like Monster or Careerbuilder, is it better to use a text resume so it get through the system's applicant track system or just use a word resume? For Craigslist, I use a Microsoft Word resume, but for the large job boards, I am leaning towards using a text resume? What in your opinion is better?
1 AnswerAdministrative and Office Support8 years agoWhat is a better job search site:Craigslist or Indeed?
I have some luck on Craigslist in getting interviews, but more difficulty in getting interviews on Indeed.com? Is it because the resume goes directly to employer on Craigslist rather than through an applicant tracking system like on Indeed.com? Which one have you had better luck with?
