  • Looking for the Spanish Song "Ella"?

I'm looking for the song "Ella" it's not the Don Omar song or Daddy Yankee, I don't think. It's a hard pumping dance song the guy says "ella, ella, ella." Has anyone heard it????

  • My boyfriend is in the US & from Costa Rica?

I don't know his immigration status. I assume he's illegal he told me he paid someone to bring him here & he's been here for six years. What is the best way for us to apply for him to live here in the US legally? Should he go back to Costa Rica, I go to Costa Rica, marry him there & come back here & apply for the paperwork? Should we get married here then file for adjustment of status? I do at some point plan to speak with an immigration attorney but I thought I'd post here & see what the responses are.

  • If you want to be a teacher

have you given any consideration to the fact you won't be able to collect social security in some states? Has this dissuaded you from becoming a teacher? I know some people approaching middle age who've worked their entire lives for it will now not go into teaching.

  • What to do when supervisor makes inappropriate comments?

Comments such as "do you want to take off your jacket your shirt is a cardigan and --- we women may sweat...."

Other comments: "you're losing weight. Keep it up."

"that dress is nice you should buy all of your clothes where you bought that."

This person was not born in the United States and is older than the person they supervise. This supervisor would NOT take kindly at being told "those comments offend me please don't make comments like that again." What's the solution? Grit your teeth and ignore it. The message in the pipe is this person won't supervise the person they made the comments for long but how would you deal with it? The fact that they made the comments in the first place shows they have zero sensitivity or tact.

  • Has anyone every earned any money being an "Independent Refund Processor"?

I received that phone call like many people on here. Of course you don't automatically earn money by sending away for the packet. You must do the work of locating people then trusting them to fill out the appropriate HUD paperwork so that can qualify to receive their refund. Depending on how you do it after they get their refund they owe you a percentage of the money. Or if you have the check sent to your address you photocopy the check and ask for your fee once you receive it you mail the check. I don't see a "scam" here. I do think that tracing down people who've paid off their home loans isn't going to be an easy task.

My question is has anyone ever earned money as a "tracer"?

  • A question for phlebotomists how do you handle a difficult draw with a child.?

I'm curious. I had a friend tell me that their grandchild had to have blood drawn & they were six or so & the child had to be held down & wouldn't stop moving. Isn't that dangerous? Is there ever a time when a phlebotomist says they refuse to try & take blood like that.

I don't understand how it can be medically safe to attempt to draw blood from a patient who refuses to stay still.

  • California wildfires?

I don't understand how or why people would build a house in the exact same spot that their previous house burned down 10 years ago?!! How or why can insurance companies keep selling them home owner's insurance? Isn't that a bad investment of funds?

Maybe I'm just heartless but I can't cry for Jane Seymour or anyone else who has several homes sprinkled through the world! I have no sympathy for a "Princess" who has lost her "castle." She can always buy another one or just move into another one that she owns. Am I cruel? Now if a regular person's home burns down & I see them kneeling on the grass crying (I did witness this) I'm going to shed a tear or two myself. I find it hard to feel "sympathy" for the filthy rich which is what the news seems to show. Am I "wrong" for feeling this way?

  • My mother had a brain aneurism.?

She had it removed & spent months in rehabilitation. She goes home today and she told my husband & I not to come to her house today. #1 I wasn’t planning on going to her house. She explained that she didn’t want to upset my 43 year old brother a lot of people from her church would be visiting etc. O. K. so people from the church can come back & forth but not your own daughter?

I understand her wanting to take thing slow. I think she has this fear that he’ll leave & she’ll be left alone. This is the brother who screamed at her in a restaurant for some nonsense reason. He treats her with total disrespect. He had her cat put to sleep when she was in rehab and gave away her bird but he’s so loving & caring.

My question is what do I do? I’m so tired of being hurt by that woman. I’m a human being with feelings! My feelings are just as important as my brother’s.

  • I have a strange question?

I've noticed a dark spot smaller than a pin head at the root of my cats hair shaft when I comb her hair. They are not fleas-she's an indoor cat & they don't darken & run when you put them on a paper towel & squash them. I combed her hair & put the hair in the toilet & didn't flush the hair for a day or two. This morning I noticed about 20 small worms!!! Gross!!! They seemed to have a split at the tail. I saved one in a plastic bag & put it in the freezer to take to the vet but in the mean time what in the heck are they? I haven't noticed any worms in her stool. She moves her bowels on a towel in front of the tub--she has issues. No one else had a bowel movement in the toilet it was clear when I put the hairs in it. Help!!! I've spoken to the vet before but they never gave me an answer as to what those dark spots are. I do think they're some sort of egg sack but what type of worm or animal???!!!

  • Someone in my family caused an auto accident.?

It was on a bad weather day. The car slid into the other person's lane. The other person got out of the car & was walking around so they weren't hurt that bad. Our insurance company notified us this guy wants $500,000. Our insurance will only cover $100,000. This person hasn't sued us for the money. If they did sue & win how would we pay them? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Will the court system set up a payment plan or what?

  • If you were at fault for a car accident?

If you were responsible for a car accident?

and the person sued you for $500,000 but your insurance only pays $100,000 how are you suppose to pay $400,000?? Does the court make you set up an installment payment plan???!! To clarify there is no judgement against us but the other guy's lawyer has told our insurance co. that he wants $500,000. We only carried coverage up to $100,000. • Has anyone else ever forgotten their yahoo password?

What did you do to retrieve it? My friend is having a terrible time. They found a phone number for yahoo but they were told to e-mail some e-mail address. It's sad that everything having to do with that e-mail is most likely gone. Take this chance to confirm your user information while you still can!!!!
