When I went to start my car today, it was completely dead--won't start, no power whatsoever. Thinking it was just a dead battery, I hooked up the jumper cables. When I put the key in the ignition, the power comes on, but when I turn the key to start it, the car just clicks once and then the power goes out too. Any ideas on what the issue could be or how to start the car?

My hood flew up while driving down the road the other day, and a cop immediately pulled me and gave me a reckless driving charge. I maintained speed and my lane the entire time. Does that really qualify as reckless driving? I live in Virginia.

So I'm shooting a short film for one of my classes this semester, and the script includes two police officers, playing themselves. It's not a big commitment, I just need two authentic cops in full uniform with a squad car to shoot on location for 1-2 days.

However, I've been having a tough time finding two able and willing cops to act in the movie. I just don't know where to look? Any suggestions?

I recently got a new computer and I want to transfer my entire iTunes library to my new computer. However, there are a few small problems that are not allowing me to do this.

First, not all of my songs were purchased off of iTunes. Some were, but many were downloaded from albums I personally own, YouTube, torrents, etc. This means when I try to transfer it directly via my iPod, it only transfers the portion of the songs that were purchased through iTunes. Not helpful.

Secondly, many of the songs I downloaded were not in the format I wanted them in when I downloaded them, so I changed album artwork, lyrics, titles, etc. within iTunes after they were downloaded. This eliminates my option to just transfer the original files via an external hard drive, because the original files are much different than the way they appear now.

Is there any way around these two problems above? I just want to put all the songs on my current iPod onto my new computer, but can't due to iTunes' "you can only put music downloaded through us into your library" philosophy. Help?

OK so this girl and I were really drunk at a party. We hooked up (not further than second) for a while and then she started hooking up with this other dude in the same bed as us.

I then preceded to go under the covers (she didn't know I was under there) and eat her out for about 2 seconds max. She got really freaked out and told me to stop so I did.

So I know that during the circle scenes it was implied that the gang was smoking pot. You could see the smoke and the way that they seemed to she stoned but you never actually saw anything drug related.

So my question is did the actual actors smoke pot during the filming of the circle scenes? I know that the characters did (Fez, Eric, Hyde, Kelso, etc.) but did the actors (Danny, Ashton, Wilmer, Topher)?

Were they actually stoned or were they just acting?

The paper has to be on an event from the last 200 years.

It must deal with one of the following regions: Middle East, Europe, China, India, Southeast Asia. No Americas or Africa.

The paper is going to be 10 pages long, so the topic has to have some depth to it.

The main thing is that it is a historical research paper, not a narrative, so that means I have to take a side on a controversial issue where historians disagree.

I recently broke my thumb in two places and things like writing, dressing, eating, typing have become much more difficult. As of now, I have not found a way to write well with the right arm cast on. Any tips or is it just not possible? Btw im a 16 year old guy.

The prompt: Having read Antigone, does the protagonist qualify as a tragic hero?

Please just critique it from a literary standpoint, not a ideological one. Any and all critism would be greatly appreciated.

The essay is just supposed to be the introductory paragraph and the first body paragraph.

Austrian physician Wilhelm Stekel once said “The mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of a mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one.” The immaturity Antigone demonstrates throughout the play makes her incomparable to and less likeable than Oedipus, a true tragic hero. Antigone is not a tragic hero, because she does not demonstrate a harmartia, a peripeteia, or an anagnorisis.

Although the play does contain harmartia, it is not of Antigone’s doing. Antigone breaks Creon’s law by burying Polynices after receiving strict orders not to do so. The harmartia however, occurs later in the play, when Creon commands his guards to bury Polynices properly, before sending them to release Antigone from her entombment. Here, Creon’s ignorance leads to the death of Antigone. The harmartia rests on Creon not Antigone, making her ineligible to be a tragic hero.
