  • how to copy an entire text message conversation from Galaxy S7 to PC?

I want to copy an entire conversation from text messages on my phone to my PC. I can't find an option for this. If I long click to select the conversation and select the menu button at the top I was expecting there to be an option to share to email but there isn't.

  • Anyone else been scammed by Amazon removing digital content from their account?

Several movies I've bought from Amazon instant video (advertised as "buy and keep forever") have disappeared from my account and are no longer available. They've also deleted the details from my purchase history so it's difficult for me to prove that I bought them and ask for a refund. Just wondering if anyone else has experience of this happening

  • What car shall I buy?

I'm looking into buying a car. I'm quite skint so cheapness is the main priority. Got a budget of around £3000. I'm after something second hand that will be cheap to run, cheap to insure and reasonably reliable. Any suggestions what I should look at.

  • Why are the relatives of builders so susceptible to accidents and illness?

A couple of years ago I hired a builder who turned up 3 days late on the job because his mum had been taken ill and had to go into hospital. Since then I've hired a plumber who didn't turn up because his wife had been taken ill, an electrician who didn't turn up because his mum had had a fall and broken her wrist. Then last week the bloke who was supposed to come an fit a new gate for me didn't turn up because his dog was ill and had to go to the vets.

I was just wondering if any scientific studies had been done which establish a causal link between being closely related to a tradesman and being more likely to suffer illness/accident. It would be handy for those relatives to know so that they might be able to take necessary precautions to avoid such misfortune in future.

  • eBay - buyer wants to cancel after sale. What's my obligation?

I sold an item on ebay auction and the winning bidder decided after they paid for it that they didn't want it. They said they'd already bought one so didn't need it anymore. I got no response from 2nd chance offer.

It seems like he was just bidding on 2 items the same time and then just wants to keep the one he got slightly cheaper so I'm a bit annoyed that he's mucked me about and feel inclined not to issue a refund. Question is am I under any kind of obligation by law or under ebay rules to refund his money or can I just send him the item and tell him he's stuck with it now and it's his own fault for bidding. I'm just a private seller and listed the item as "No returns accepted"

It's a used item so he can just sell it on and recoup most of his money back just don't see why I should have the inconvenience of having to re-auction it just so that he could save himself a few quid.

  • How to connect a TV?

This might seem like a bit of a stupid question but I've just bought a TV having not owned one for the last 6 years. It's got built in freeview so How do I connect it up? Do I still just run a co-axial cable from the aerial on the roof like in the olden days or is there some new fangled way of doing it now everything's gone digital?

  • Question for Muslims. Why are you so sensitive about this Hadith?

I know it's a bit of a generalisation but I've never encountered a Muslim willing to talk about it.

    Sahih Al-Bukhari

    Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64.

If I paste it in, the question will probably get censored so you'll need to go and look it up.

It seems like no Muslims are willing to even acknowledge it's existence.

  • How to interpret 4*7-3*6?

Daughter's homework question for year 7 maths. How to interpret

    4*7-3*6 =

    possible ways are:-

    ((4*7)-3) * 6 = 150

    (4*7) - (3*6) = 10

    4 * (7-3) * 6 = 96

I was taught at school back in the olden days to calculate from left to right if there's no brackets meaning the top one is correct however typing it into a calculator gives the answer as 10.

Anyone know how they do it these days?

  • What's the point of windows 8?

Just upgraded my computer to windows 8 pro taking advantage of Microsoft's special offer thing they're doing on it. As far as I can see it's the same as Windows 7 only with a different start menu and it runs a bit slower.

Does anyone know of any amazing features I haven't found that make the £25 quid it cost worthwhile?

In regard to the way they're behaving of late. Essentially attempting to eliminate their competition in order to monopolise the smart phone market. I for one will be boycotting all Apple products from now on.

  • Central locking problem on Suzuki Alto?

The central locking on my car is playing up. It keeps popping up and down while I'm driving along and often when I unlock the door it just locks itself again making it difficult to get in to the car.

Is there a way I can simply disable the central locking? I'm not bothered about having central locking and would rather just make it into an old fashioned manual locking system than pay to have it fixed. I was wondering If I could somehow just disconnect the power to the central locking system would that sort it?
