I want to buy a really nice used laptop from a person, not a store, not online. It costs $900 local cash deal.. I want to be able to use that as a business expense as the laptop is for my business. I'm wondering how to do that when I don't get a receipt..

PS - I'm in Canada.

I'm brainstorming places you can legally gamble in Canada besides a casino. So far I have:

-Corner store (scratchy tickets, loto649 etc)

more detail: I took the video on my last heavy working set so there would be the most breakdown of form. I'm able do 4 sets of 225x10 - I feel like I could go maybe 20-30lbs more but need to be sure my form is ok first.

In order for a script to work i need to change a text file on my server to chmod 777. What im wondering is will this potentially let a hacker modify that .txt file and get it to run scripts or somehow use it to steal my server credentials ect..?

I'm trying to run a bunch of computer servers in my apartment but its drawing wayyy too much power and burning extension cords ect.. I know that the special oven outlet is capable of producing much more electricity than a regular wall socket.. how could I convert the electricity to power my servers?

I'm looking to control a small motor by hooking up to my laptop or computer. I have already tried using spliced wires from the serial printer port and it doesn't work (althought it did work to control and small LED).

Question 2: Does anyone know why I can control an LED but not a small motor with a serial printer port cable? I checked the power coming from it with a multimeter and everything seems like it should work but it doesn't.

I just bought an 1988 150, apparently its 2WD but yet I look on the dash and see an unlit 4WD signal... why would I have a 4WD signal if I can't use it?!

I need a pilots lisence, is joining the Canadian air force a good option for me? If I were to do the aircraft training as a civilian there is no way I could afford it.. from what I hear you need 100+ hours of pricey sim training + courses + tests ect..

I want a pilots lisence to fly a small 1-2 person aircraft.

What other kind of training do you get in the CAF? Any kind of survival / evasion or other cool stuff you learn along the way?

If I join can they try and force me to go to war? I have no problem defending my country and would do so to the death but I don't believe in wars fueled by opium, oil and political madness. I also have problems with authority, they don't have a boot camp with people getting in your face do they?
