A woman new to the area, with a 2/3 year old were detained by security at Safeway, in Honolulu, and subsequently arrested by HPD, for an alleged shoplifting offense involving 5 dollars of ready to eat chicken sandwich. The couple's child was removed from the parents, and placed in state of Hawaii child custody overnight. Safeway of course has dropped all charges, and the manager and security personnel are going to be "retrained", will this have any affect on tourism in Honolulu? Or, will most tourists still go to Hawaii, but just avoid Safeway, or ??? For locals, will this change your shopping at Safeway?

I saw her, "the mermaid" on CNN, presenting herself as some kind of an authority on the shale oil pipeline, along with Robert RED-ford, her communist compatriot. Her explanation was pathetic, but she did look good while she was demonstrating her complete lack of understanding of the issue, her general lack of knowledge, and obvious inability to answer questions posed by the moderator. Has she suffered a CVA, smoked too much Cannabis, or is she just a ditzy blond?

Didn't he used to be the campaign manager for Al Gore? How did that happen? Or are all politicians regardless of party affiliation full of bull sh1t?

Seismologists are being charged with manslaughter for failing to predict the "La Aquila" earthquake, should Climatologists who make predictions about climate change which do not turn out to be correct, but result in additional costs to everyone, have criminal charges of Fraud and/or Extortion brought against them by the civil authorities? As a group they claim to be able to predict that anthropogenic climate change will make the earth's climate untenable for some species, should they be held liable criminally for those predictions if they are not correct?

Somali based pirates are threatening to kill the Danish citizens they unlawfully captured and kidnapped on the high seas if a rescue is attempted, the country is allowing these criminals to operate out of their ports with impunity, and with the "governments" support, although we all know that there is no real government there, just a loose affiliation of gangs and pirates who prey on unarmed ships and hold them for ransom. Is it time to invade Somalia, and stop this aggresion?

If they will not stop this lawlessnes, should they be stopped by military intervention?

He works for Obama, so Obama obviously ordered it. Is it his job to decide what is unconstitutional and what is not, or is that supposed to be left up to the Federal Courts? Is this an attempt to placate his liberal base, who are not too happy he folded on the tax increase for the "wealthy"?
