How do I grow my hair long if it's very thick?
I've been wanting to grow my hair this long (right): https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-...
But the problem is, whenever I get a haircut and leave it growing, it just becomes too thick, like a blob. I never understood how people grew their hair long with it being thin because when I try to grow mine, it's in an outward way, kinda like a mushroom, and it becomes so unappealing.
Am I supposed to have a certain type of haircut so that when it grows, it doesn't become too thick? Or am I just born unlucky, and that I have to keep a clean cut forever?

6 AnswersMathematics10 years agoCan you guess who these people are?
I know it's sort of a pointless question (and wrong category too), but I'm in a pace and I really need to know who these people are. They are famous leaders (I think), and I can only make out Hitler. Please try to figure out the rest.

"There are 2 ways for someone to be excommunicated. Abortion or harming the pope.", a bishop said.
So abortion must be worse than murder right?

4 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoDoes a free society necessitate free love?
I actually have no stance at this (yet) so it would really help distinguishing things. We can say that marriage exists solely for procreation but that is very off-base because I think there are some people who would not want kids, and homosexuals count regardless. Free love sounds plausible but I would appreciate it if you break down things that makes it worse than marriage. Thanks.

"The species are originally from Crocodile Isle, though they were first seen in the Kongs' island in Donkey Kong Country when King K. Rool stole the banana hoard, though the reason why carnivores would need bananas is never explained."
Me and my friends talked about how it didn't make sense, but thinking of it I actually think this is correct. Thoughts?

4 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agoWhat is Ariadne's real role in Inception?
In the dream world, there are certain types of "people".
The dreamer - builds the world
The subject (or the target) - populates the world, which means the projections are his subconscious
The sharers - they are neither the dreamer nor the subject, but they do share the dream and are real (the team basically)
The projections - literally the subconscious of the subject--they can't be controlled by the subject and they attack "people" that cause anomalies in these dreams.
Note: Sharers can possibly bring elements of their own subconscious if they're not careful, even though they aren't the subject (hence why Mal keeps on showing up in different layers).
I still don't understand this though: if the dreamer is the "builder" of the dream (yusuf on the 1st, arthur on the 2nd, etc), how does Ariadne "build" the mazes, the never-ending staircases, the loops, etc?

3 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhere do people most likely meet their girlfriends/boyfriends?
I've narrowed it down to two broad choices: university or high school.
I'm in a situation where I am madly in love with this girl from my high school. She was quite the simple yet perfect type, and lots of guys do like her, while I'm just the ordinary teen. After we graduated high school, we became best of friends, and I'm quite certain we fell in love with each other (she never treated any guy the same way to my knowledge), although we're not that close anymore when we started going to university--aside from being overly busy for both parties, we had too many wrongs. I didn't start dating her because she wasn't comfortable with the idea of having a boyfriend.
Unfortunately for me though, I'm still deeply in love with her, and I'm not sure anymore if she feels the same. I'm also not sure when she would be interested in a relationship, but it could be any minute now, believe me she's not that predictable. Worse, people have told me that most meet their girlfriend/boyfriend at their university.
Is this true? Where did you meet your relationship partner? If anything else, would you share any piece of advice?

2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoFind the missing dollar?
You want to buy this really cool shirt worth $97. Having no money with you, you're forced to borrow $50 each from your mom and dad, meaning you now have $100. Purchasing the shirt, your change is $3. You returned $1 to your mom, $1 to your dad, and saved the $1 for yourself, meaning your debt for both of them would be $49 each.
$49 + $49 = $98 + $1 = $99
Question: Where is the remaining $1?

1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoQuestions about copyright law?
Right off let me say that I have very little knowledge at economics.
So I've been reading recently about copyright, and based on my very limited knowledge, I don't think I would be supporting it. It prohibits one person to sell whatever he wants because of "imaginary exclusive rights". Personally I also think it's unrelated to the concept of "property" because I think one can only qualify as a property if it is "finite" or "tangible" and I'm pretty sure people's minds can reproduce ideas "infinitely", which fails to qualify as one.
I don't really have a specific question here, I just want you to elaborate the basics like how it works or what are its benefits or whatnot.
