  • Help with a wedding song?

I will be having 2 acoustic guitars performing the music for my wedding ceremony, and I have no idea what song I want to walk down the aisle to! I spoke to one of the musicians we hired and he suggested that I pick a song with special meaning to my dad or my fiance. Well, my fiance and I don't really have a song (not a wedding-ceremony-appropriate one, anyway lol), and I have kind of a complicated relationship with my dad. I was never "daddy's little girl", though we've always had a good relationship for the most part.

I'd like it to be a classic rock song (it will be only instrumental, no vocals), but I can't seem to find one that fits. Nothing too sappy, something unique... any suggestions?

  • Thank you note disaster! Help!?

My maid-of-honor made a list for me of who gave me what at my bridal shower. Now it's time to write thank you notes- and she LOST THE LIST!! I was very overwhelmed that day, and can hardly remember who was there, let alone what gifts they brought! What should I do???

  • Exercises for toning knees that don't hurt?!?

I don't like how flabby my knees look. I'd like to tone them up but every exercise I try (lunges, squats, etc.) makes them HURT. They swell up and get really warm, and feel like they're "squeaking" when I try to bend them. Does anyone know of any exercises that won't cause me this kind of pain? Soreness i can handle, but this is debilitating.

  • Question for all the brides out there...?

I'm kind of taking an informal poll. What was or is the most frustrating part of planning your wedding? My wedding is coming up in a little less than a year and even though I've planned other people's weddings and had a blast, I'm getting really frustrated with my own. I'm just curious what everyone else found the most maddening.

  • How old do I look in this pic?

This was taken about 2 years ago, but I haven't changed much.

I don't care if you think I'm pretty or ugly. I just want the AGE I look.

  • Should we have a destination wedding?

I love planning other people's weddings, but planning my own is so stressful! And since I'm the go-to person in the family when it comes to decorating and planning, I feel like I have to go all out to impress everyone. So, I was kind of thinking of going to Mexico to this really beautiful all-inclusive resort with just our parents, best friends, and siblings and then having a big casual reception when we get back to celebrate with the extended family. My fiance is on board with the idea, so the only ones that need to be convinced are his parents (mine love the idea). And I guess, me. Would it be a huge mistake to forgo the whole hometown wedding thing?
