For those dark circles, you know?
1 AnswerMakeup1 decade agoCanadian AAA (BCAA where I live) users....should you tip your AAA towtruck driver?
I never have, but was just thinking about it and wondering if I should be. What do you think?
2 AnswersEtiquette1 decade agoNew Blackberry Curve..what's the difference between BB Messenger and PINing someone?
I've only had it for 2 days, so I'm still figuring this stuff out. I can't find an answer in the users guide.
Thank you!
1 AnswerPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoHow can I copy and paste a Google Maps map into a Word document? They seem to have disabled the right click?
I know I used to be able to do that, but right click, then copy and paste doesn't work anymore. Any other map would do as well, but I've tried MapQuest and it doesn't work either. Thanks for your help!
Google1 decade agoExternal hard drive doesn't work anymore...when I plug it into my laptop it says "USB device not recognized"
and that the device has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it. I'm not aware of anything that would cause this to happen, it's always been plugged in, the power light is still on, and it's still "running" (I can feel the vibration with my hand). I'm wondering if all my stuff is lost for good, or maybe I just need a new USB cable? Any suggestions would be much appreciated because I have a ton of photos on it and (stupidly) have not backed up the device. Thank you so much for your help!
3 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoMS Word 2007, designing a document w. black background and white text, it won't print the black background?
I have it laid out the way I want it, but when I print preview it, the columns and text show up the way I want, but the spaces around the columns, where the margins are, and between the columns still show up as white. I've tried every way I can think of to get the entire doc to have a black background in print preview but I can't figure it out. Please help! Thank you.
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoI have very sensitive skin, prone to hives. When I pluck my eyebrows, I always end up with itchy/puffy patches
Is there anything I can do to avoid this? They usually take about half a day to go away, and are uncomfortable and unsightly. I was thinking that maybe if I did it right after having a shower? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
2 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoI'm 34 and looking for an inexpensive, really good eye cream to help with the wrinkles I'm starting to get
I live in Canada so please tell me about stuff that is available here. I need something that will help to fill in the lines I'm getting under my eyes, and the "sleep lines" that just never seem to go away. I can't afford to pay $50 a tube.
10 AnswersOther - Skin & Body1 decade agoCan I hook up my computer to my TV so I can play DVDs on my computer and see them on my TV screen?
I have a really old TV (really, really old) and I do have a DVD player but it's not working right now. To use my DVD player with my TV, I had to buy a box that plugs into the electrical outlet, and I have to plug the DVD player into the box, and plug the outlet from my VCR (which I use to watch TV) into the box when I want to watch DVDs. Or something like that. What I'm saying is that my TV doesn't have all the plugs at the back like newer TVs do. Can anyone help me so I don't have to buy a new DVD player?

We're not really into casseroles or that sort of thing, something a little more interesting would be good.
14 AnswersEntertaining1 decade agoR.E.M. tickets? Seems like they're not on sale yet, but "VIP tickets" seems to be selling them?
I don't understand. Does anyone know when they go on sale officially, and how much they will be? I live in Vancouver, the first stop on their North American tour and I'm SOOOOOOO excited to see them again. Saw them in 2005 when they were here last and it was fantastic.
How does this VIP ticket thing work? Is it a scam?
3 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoBrown sugar storage? I can't store it in a sealed container, just in the bag it came from?
I've heard that you're supposed to put a bun, or an apple or something in the bag to keep the sugar from becoming a giant hard lump....does this really work, and for how long? Do I have to replace the bun/apple/etc. every so often? Thanks for your help.
12 AnswersOther - Food & Drink1 decade agoVinegar as a household cleaner? I would like to be more environmentally friendly?
My friend who is a clean freak uses it on everything from countertops to floors to windows and mirrors. I figure if she uses it, it must work well. Can I use it in the bathroom? Do I have to dilute it (and if so by how much?) Will it really give me a "streak free clean" on windows etc.? Any other environmentally friendly cleaning tips would be appreciated.

1 AnswerOther - Holidays1 decade agoSomeone asked me if my 50 mm lens is 1:4 or 1:6. What does this mean?
I have a Nikon D80 DSLR. Feel like I should know what this means but I don't! Also, any thoughts on the new super light tripods? I think they're made of carbon-something?

4 AnswersCameras1 decade agoI've always wanted to put on a superhero cape and in the dead of night, take a giant bottle of liquid paper

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoPasta/noodle recipes without the traditional tomato or creamy sauce?
I'm not a big fan of regular tomato sauce, and although I love creamy pasta sauces, I'm trying to find some lower calorie recipes for pasta. I love spicy foods, and Asian flavours.
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoSome nice places to stay in Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast?
I'm looking for somewhere on or right near the beach, low to medium priced. I would prefer somewhere small and homey, maybe a private cabin, but I would be OK with a hotel/motel too if it was reasonably priced.
