Do you think those pensioners /folks on small fixed incomes ,who wont be able to afford to heat their homes this winter should commit a crime serious enough to be put in prison for the winter..they will be well fed, warm...no waiting list for medical treatment not even pay for a taxi to take you to the doctors..

Sounds like a good idea to me what do you think.

My Credit Card was refused yesterday, I wasn`t too worried as anyone with cards knows this happens now and then..I phoned Mastercard to find out what had happened and was told a retailer had lost/had stolen details of 7000 customers...so as a precaution my card was cancelled...

No problem so far but my problem is this...

Why won`t Mastercard tell me which retailer lost my details?

I want the choice of whether I shop there again on not..

Does anyone know how I can find out this information?

I retired last year and am busy selling my home to move into a Council Owned bungalow..I`f either my husband or I need residential care we wont lose our hard worked for home..we dont need to keep a substansial amount in a rainy day fund for home repairs...we can give our children their inheritances now and see them spend it and enjoy .

Are any other OP`s thinking of doing this...or do you think I have been silly?

The government and powers that be are worried about binge drinking in this country (England) yet I have just been out for a drink with my family and I paid £1.50 for a small lemonade..Not a little bottle of Schweppes or the like just the pump stuff....it is £1.32 for 1/2 of lager..now given the choice ( if your arent driving) which would you choose?....

Where do the mathamaticians get their facts and figures only yesterday a product I buy on a regular basis for 65p had gone up to 89p ( I was told because of milk prices rising) my gas/electric has gone up 15%...because of the wet winter my vegtables especially onions have gone really expensive...so how can the Government give out such low figures telling us thats the inflation...

How many more children have to be killed or mauled before anything is done to stop people keeping dangerous dogs....while I was reeling with the news of a 5 year old girl being killed by "A HARMLESS FAMILY PET" yet another report came in of a dog being attacked and killed and its owner bitten too.again by " A HARMLESS FAMILY PET"..something has to be done now..before more people not just children are hurt or killed...but what?

I took my mini poodle to the Vet to-day as he seemed stiff around his back end..I thought it was arthritis he`s getting on..He needed X-Rays..they have cost £250..thats before any treatment he may need...why so expensive?P.S. I cant have pet insurance now as hes over 9 years old...

I didn`t swear wasn`t abusive and wasn`t allowed to explain my answer just assumed guilty ...who decides if something is a violation? I thought this was (within the bounds of decency) a free speech forum.I notice the porn robots in every games room are not classed as a violation and I for one find them offensive.
