What's the best bra to make me look bigger?
I'm wearing a dress with skinny straps and I want to fill it up a little more. What will make me look bigger but not too fake?
6 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoWhy did Sarah Palin resign?
Is there some scandal about to be revealed? One of the many rumors turns out to be true? Or is she too busy running for president three YEARS from now to be governor any more? What do you think about this?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoAre Republicans morally superior to Democrats?
They keep insisting on it. But every time another one screws up, all the Republicans here say "But Democrats do it too!" Sure. That's the point. So, are Democrats and Republicans the same, or do you still believe you are superior? Make up your minds.
7 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat is with Republican politicians lately?
"After going AWOL for seven days, Gov. Mark Sanford admitted Wednesday that he had secretly flown to Argentina to visit a woman with whom he was having an affair. Wiping away tears, he apologized to his wife and four sons and said he will resign as head of the Republican Governors Association."

Now isn't that a cause we can all get behind? You go Sarah!
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoIs democracy dead in America?
I keep reading here that the apparent overwhelming support for President Obama is a mirage. That everyone who supports him is a fascist, socialist, communist, welfare cheat, unemployed, black, Jewish, a sheep, a nazi, completely deluded OR part of the New World Order cabal that is plotting to take over America.
So if those of us who THINK we approve of the president don't count, and those who really do don't count, than the only ones who count are those who oppose the president? Is that how the logic works? Seems like we're living in a Kafka novel.
9 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoAre those who pray for the government to fail traitors to America?
Rush and others keep saying they want more Americans to lose their homes and jobs, and even hope for more terrorist attacks, just to make the president look bad. Isn't that taking partisan politics too far?
11 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoIf Lincoln were alive today, would he be forced out of the Republican party?
Would they call him a socialist? Say he's a racist for caring about slaves? A communist for wanting to take away the property of slave-owners? Would Rush cast aspersions on his education and parentage, and Ahnuld call him a girly-man?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo Republicans have ANY ideas of their own?
All they seem able to do is criticize everything the administration does. But we have an economy in crisis, and they have offered NO alternatives. Do they really imagine that this is the way back to power for their party?
7 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoDo people really believe the demise of the auto industry is Obama's fault?
The number of cars they sell has been declining for decades. The financial crunch happened while Bush was still president. Sure, Obama could have stood by and watched them go under, but how would that have been better?
11 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhy are teleprompters a problem?
Presidents never memorized their speeches. They used to read them off of pieces of paper, note cards, or in Lincoln's case, the back of an envelope. Why is it worse to read it off of a screen? Can someone please explain?
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoRemember when Americans were admired around the world?
If you're very young you may not, but it used to be the whole world looked up to America, until we started throwing our weight around, overthrowing governments we didn't like, invading countries for their oil, and attacking people for having a different religion. Isn't it encouraging that we have a president strong enough not to be afraid of the world? Isn't it great that he's trying to make friends out of our enemies? It inspires me to try harder in my own life.
23 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWill McHugh be drummed out of the Republican Party like Colin Powell?
"Obama picks NY Republican for Army secretary"
"WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama picked a Republican congressmen to be the next secretary of the Army Tuesday, bringing another member of the opposition into his administration's fold.
Obama said New York Rep. John McHugh is "committed to keeping America's Army the best trained the best equipped, the best land force the world has ever seen."

2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy do people think the US President controls oil prices?
OPEC controls the production and price of oil. Gasoline is up because Saudi Arabia reduced production for just that reason - to increase prices. Isn't it silly that people argue over which president is responsible for the price of gas?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoThe American Civil War in the context of world history?
I asked about how southerners view the Civil War, and the almost unanimous response was that the abolition of slavery was an excuse to subjugate the South. I'm curious about how this fits with what was going on elsewhere in the world. European countries had already abolished slavery. The only other country where it was still legal after the Civil War was Turkey. Wouldn't it make more sense to see this as part of the global trend?
5 AnswersHistory1 decade agoAre the Republicans reduced to name calling?
Members of the Republican National Committee just introduced a resolution renaming the Democratic Party the "National Socialist Party," the same name the Nazis used. With all the serious issues facing our country, wouldn't you think they could come up with some actual ideas?
8 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoAre southern children still taught that the Civil War was about the North oppressing the South?
That seems to be the case from comments here. I'm really interested to hear from those who have gone to school in the South. It's fascinating that people who live in the same country are taught such radically different versions of the same event.
