I got my boys 4 or 5 days ao and they do nothing but sleep. I left them for the recommended 48 hours before having contact with them, Since ive been able to let them sniff me and get used to me ive not been able to go near them. We bhave two and the white one ive been able to hold a few times but the brown and white one is just a nervous wreck.They hide and sleep in the hammock ive put in the cage and the few times they have come down for a drink and ive put my fingers near them for a sniff they just run away. I got them from pets at home. How long wil it be before i can tame them hold them and will they get friendlier and less nervous as time goes on. Any tips advice is welcome. Oh and they are 13 weeks old apparently

Im really considering getting a pair of rats and i want honest opinions about how smelly they are. Ive had mixed messages given to me. I know they can be smelly if you don't clean them properly and then ive read on here a bad fatty diet can cause their urine to be smelly etc?? Can someone please please let me know realistically what is to be expected from having a pair.

Ive been having regular periods since my baby was 8 weeks old and now they have gone a bit funny. I was having regular ones and knew exactly what date it would arrive until recently. I had a period on the 15 june as normal and that lasted about a week.Over the last few days ive had some spotting and a bit of cramp.Now me and my husband are active and have been using the withdrawl method.

Im not pregnant am i? or is it just my periods have gone a bit funny?

This is my second baby and we wanted to find out the gender of the baby. Because she wriggled so much the sonographer found it hard to look for bits. When she did manage to look she said she couldnt see boy bits and could see three lines down there meaning we are having a girl. I asked her how sure she was and she said 90%

Do i take the three lines as a sign it definately is a girl.

we never found out with my daughter so never got into this?

My baby is one week old, she is breast fed.

she has has really bad diarrhea all day today and i mean you can hear it when she does it.

Is it possible she is allergic to my breast milk, or could it be a bug or is she having bad nappies?

not sure what to do?

I have two cats, a male and female.

When we first got them ( they are rescued) they were indoor cats.

The female does go out but the male doesn't as he is very nervous still.

We have had them about three years.

The male cat is also on a special diet from the vet as he had a blocked bladder a year ago.

Anyway over the last two weeks me and my husband have noticed that he has really bad dry flaky skin like dandruff,

We brush him everyday as he sheds alot.

Can anybody tell me how i can help get rid of this without taking him to the vets or tell me why this is happening?

Its my husbands birthday on the 25th march and im stuck as to what to buy him. Has anybody got any ideas?

I want to get him something special but with a budget of a maximum of 60 pounds.

I would like to add im currently 38 weeks pregnant so anything kinky or anything like that is out the question.

It doesn't have to be something that i buy it could be that i take him somewhere.

Im 27 weeks pregnant and apart from chronic back ache have had a simple pregnancy so far.

BUT the other day i was watching television and i coughed and whilst coughing i noticed i had "leaked" a bit down below.

This has never happened before.

Is this normal or has this happened to anyone else?

Is there any thing i can do to prevent this?

Hi i am nearly twenty weeks pregnant and am having difficulty getting a comfortable pair of maternity jeans. The ones that i have brought keep falling down and are tight on the legs and are very long.

I brought a pair of mamas and papas one and they don't sit right.

today i tried new look and yet again are very long and don't sit right.

I have got black maternity combats from mother care in the sale and they are comfortable but yet keep falling down and are very long.

Does anybody have suggestions on where i can purchase some that are reasonable priced and are comfortable or has anybody had similar problems?

My male cat has recently started to wee on the rug. The litter tray is cleaned out everyday so its not like its dirty.

The rug is new we have had it about a month, the rug we had before he never went near it.

He went to do it the other day and we kicked him off and he just continued to do it on the floor.

My female cat doesn't do it.

We have tried different punishments for him such as rubbing his face in it after he has gone, we have sprayed the rug with that get off stuff that is meant to repel them from going.

Its frustrating as he is going to ruin it and we don't want him to start bad habits.

Please help!!!

Im thirteen weeks pregnant and so far i think i have had a easy going pregnancy. I haven't suffered with morning sickness just feeling sick every now and again. but have had other none related illnesses.

This morning i was sick. I have got a cold and a slight cough and gagged slightly when coughing which lead to me being sick.

Is this my cold or do you think i am going to be getting delayed morning sickness.i have being gagging a few times throughout the week and gone off eating in the mornings which i haven't done up till now?

Im between 9-12 weeks pregnant and am having funny coloured discharge. its like a dark brownish colour. I normally only get this before i get a period. im having slight period cramps aswell.

Is this normal to have this?

I havent got a proper midwife yet as the one i saw in the week isnt mine and was filling in till i have a proper assigned on

I dont want to bother the doctor as its hard to get a appointment!!

Im between 6-11 weeks pregnant.

The doctor isnt sure till i go for a scan.

I was prescribed antiobiotics from the dentist who knew i was pregnant

for my wisdom tooth.

Is is safe to take these or is it best to check with the doctor first?

Im also experencing mild period pains, is this normal?

before i get my period i always get a bit of brown discharge then i get my period and it goes after the period!! this time i got the discharge got my period then have still got this brownish sticky discharge!!!

i dont really want to got the doctor as he is useless plus it might be nothing!!

can anybody help me with why i have still got it!!

p.s i did start the pill for the first time in 4 months

Im getting married in may and have been to two hair trials.

the first one as lovely as she was and took her time doing it wasnt right for me, and the second completely rushed it and it didnt look to bad. But im not happy with either of them

I brought two lovely long and flowing pastel green dresses in the monsoon sale. But decided as my bridesmaids heights are very different i.e one being very tall and the other shorter and a bit more round that they looked silly and unflattering to the shorter one.

so i went and brought two knee length black and ivory ones, which flatterned the shorter one. Now she has lost lots of weight due to stress looks really nice in the green one as well as the black and ivory one. We also changed our colour scheme to lilac to go with the black and ivory dresses. We havent brought anything to do with the wedding as such i.e flowers etc. But am confused now as to what dress to have?

I know this sounds stupid, but the other day i had a yogurt and let them lick the lid and the few remains and they absolutely loved it. I was just wondereing if i could i give them a small bowlfull. I know you arent suppose to really give cats milk but yogurt?
