I bought this car two days ago and yesterday, as I pulled onto a street and punched the gas, it bellowed a lot of white smoke and started to sputter. This seemed to happen at a point where the turbo would be kicking in. The check engine light is now on and staying on. (I think I read that there is also a blinking mode.) This is my first Volvo and my first turbo. It otherwise runs fine as long as I am easy on the gas pedal, presumably not kicking in the turbo.

I mean, it has Charlie Sheen pushing it. It can't be too girlie, right?

I have a Sony Ericsson phone (760w, I think is the model) and it just suddenly died on me for no apparent reason. The battery, which always held a charge for up to a couple days if necessary, was up to almost full charge. I opened it to send a text, the screen did something kind of weird and now the screen is blank and if I leave it on a charger, all it does is make the vibration that it does when I turn the phone on or off. I've had the phone for about 10 or 11 months now. Is it possible that the battery just up and died on me or does it sound like something else is wrong?

I am writing a thesis paper for The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. I am having trouble thinking of an argument on which to base my thesis statement. It is for a college literature/composition class. Could someone could think of an argument I can make about the book or come up with an intriguing thesis topic or the statement itself? The ten points goes to the person whose idea I use.

After working as a subcontractor for several years, I accumulated quite a large tax debt that I have since been trying to ignore. Obviously, these things only get worse with time, I understand that. My question is, does anyone have any familiarity with the tax relief companies you see advertised on TV? My guess is that I owe in the neighborhood of 30,000 dollars and earn around 25,000 a year. So if you have used these places, can you give me an idea of how they work and what I can expect them to be able to do for me? Do they need money up front? If so, how much? What else might they ask from me? Thanks in advance for your help.
