WASSUP!

  • opinions about massage therapy as a part time career?

I am thinking about going back to massage therapy school. I wanted some information from others out there about whether or not it is worth it. Do you enjoy your job? Is the pay worth it to just work part time (like 8 massages a week). I have a very good full time job and this would just be something to do on the side to earn a little extra. thanks for your help!

  • salt water aquarium question?

our aquarium is about 6 weeks old. after the first week we started having a problem with green hair algae. we purchased a sea hare to help with the problem. two weeks later we purchased a Lettuce Nudibranch to help out. this afternoon when we came home, the Lettuce Nudibranch was attached at the top of the aquarium and looked sickly. he is smaller and not as filled out as he has been. he is about 4 weeks old and we have not had any problems with any other creatures. has anyone ever heard of a Lettuce Nudibranch splitting or laying eggs in an aquarium? is it possible that he is sick or that something attacked him? we have several snails and hermit crabs in the tank and have just added three blue chromis as starter fish. the chromis have been in the tank about a week and have thrived well. we have not seen anything mess with the Lettuce Nudibranch. any help will be great! thanks!

  • question about toddler?

my 14 month old is not walking, pulling up, or sitting up by herself. she tries to sit up on her on and can do it if she has something to pull up on, we practice daily. she can pull to a standing position if she can wrap her fingers around the object, like holding on to my fingers or the slats in the gate. once she has pulled up, with help, she can cruise all around holding onto the furniture, but she refuses to let go and take steps. she can also grab a hold of my fingers and walk all over the house and yard as long as i am right there with her. my pediatrician said that if she was not doing better by 15 months then we might have to start physical therapy twice weekly. i am worried and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. has anyone ever had this situation before? whay can i do to encourage her?

  • one year old vomiting?

my one year old has had some soft, loose diapers over the last several days that i would not discribe as diarrhea, she has also vomited three times in the last 4 days, each time has been associated with eating, other than this she has been fine, she has been eating and drinking and playing like normal, she is not dehydrated because she is having good wet diapers at least three times a day, she is teething and has about 9 teeth coming in at once, i have heard that diarrhea can be associated with teething but never the occasional vomiting, has anyone ever had a child that has done this? i am taking her to the pediatrician in the morning but is there something else i should be worried about? any help would be appreciated! thanks!

my 13 month old has nine or ten teeth coming in on both top and bottom, today she has had several very loose stools, like the kind that soak through the diaper and run down her legs, there is some formed stool in the diaper. she is eating and drinking and playing and acting fine. i was wondering if these stools could be related to teething or are they a stomach virus. i have called the pediatrician, but they have not returned my call yet. does anyone have any ideas?

  • what can i do about 102 degree fever?

my six month old has 102 degree for past 24 hours, took her to the afterhours clinic, no ear infection or sore throat, doctor said it was a "febrile illness", told me to go home and give plenty of fluids and give tylenol, she does not take the tylenol well, she gags when i give it to her and then throws up, she is eating well and keeping the majority of her food down, i have been using a pacifier despenser for her medicine, we have also been giving lukewarm baths around the clock, her fever does break but in 3 or 4 hours it starts to climb again, has anyone else experienced a similar situation? please help!
